LARGE Antique Gorham sterling center piece Item # 1603 American Gorham sterling silver,"Early Gorham sterling silver" Antique Gorham sterling silver handmade center piece,This antique Gorham sterling silver center piece or bowl is without a doubt one of the nicest Gorham pieces we have had. When we first saw this piece we thought it to be Tiffany because of its high quality craftsmanship. The hall marks on the bottom look to be from the 1860s. This Gorham sterling silver center piece is heavy with nice open work all along its upper rim. The pictures do not show just how large this piece is. The bowl measures 11 and three quarters inches long by 6 inches high and 8 inches wide. This Gorham sterling silver bowl weighs 33 ozs. The hall marks are Richard Hennell London 1855 to 1856. This English silver salver, tray has a wonderful etched design and scalloped boarder. The salver measures 7 3/7 inches across. Warners safe kidney liver cure antique bottle Item # 1604 Pair of Antique American glass bottles. Matched pair of Antique glass Warners Kidney Liver cure safe bottles. This pair of bottles by Warners is very rare because it has both the left and right hand safes hindges. Both of these Warner Safe bottles were made in Rochester NY, New York, and are excellent condition. They do need to be washed. No sickness chips or dings on either bottle. They just came in from an Essex CT Estate.These two amber bottles measure 9 5/8" high.One is slightly more honey amber than the other. Antique American Tiger maple lap top desk Item # 1609 "Curly maple desk" Antique American curly maple. Period American curly or tiger maple lift top travel desk c1800. This desk has what we call a wicked curl, which is one that is very pronounced all over. This curly lap top desks has two drawers that lock on the underneath. Each drawer has wonderful hand cut dove tails.This writing desk also retains its original brasses.It is a beautiful piece of period American accessory furniture, Measures 22inches long by 7" high by 9" deep. French cast iron door knocker ladys hand Item # 1611 Antique cast iron,French,French cast iron doork nocker,This early door knocker is made to look like a ladys hand. The hand is holding a ball and also has a ring on. The door knocker dates from around 1870 and was purchased in France 35 years ago. The door knocker measures itself measures 7 inches long with another 2 and one half inches that would go through a door to hold it inplace. The castiron drop hand measures 5 and one half inches.
