This "Vintage Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Danish Trinket Tray of a Cobblestone Street Corner Scene" measures 3 and one quarter inches across. The Royal Copenhagen Factory was founded around 1771 in Copenhagen, Denmark, by F H Müller. It is known for its high quality porcelain and for the three wavy lines which have formed part of the companys many marks since 1775. In the 1880s when production at the Royal Copenhagen factory was dropping to a dangerously low level they were taken over by Aluminia (founded 1863), successful makers of earthenware, and since that time the two ranges, earthenware and porcelain, have been running in tandem.
