Antique English teabox or tea caddy. This is a Late 18th century made from beautiful matched mahogany. This tea caddy has a period blown glass mixing bowl that also dates from c1790. This English Tea Chest measures 14 inches wide,6 and three quarters inches deep and 7 inches high.The key escutcheon is original inset ivory. The tea chest retains its original lock and brass handle. The blown glass insert is of the period but most probably replaced.

French Limoges,"limoges chargers" Antique French limoges porcelain charger. A Strauss Lewis and Sons Limoges Hunt Plate Circa 1890.This antique French limoges charger was handpainted and signed by French artist "DuBois", This plate scene is of a fox flushing a hare from the underbrush. "Hand painted Limoges Hunt Plate" This limoges plate is hallmarked on the back and signed on the front. It measures 13 (thirteen) inches across !! The border is a Rococo style. This is a large and rare piece. The 24 karat gold leaf is in excellent condition. Just in from and Old Lyme CT estate.
