Antique French Chenets,"French Chenets" This pair of period antique French solid brass Chenets each measure 13 inches long and 6 inches high and the middle brass fence measures 21 inches. This antique fireplace fender set dates from the early 19th century. Excellent condition. The set was brought back from Paris by its current owner. They were in his family for generations.

Antique American Chippendale mirror,"Chippendale mirror" This period Chippendale mirror is made from a solid piece of mahogany. This period antique "looking glass" measures 20 inches high and 10 inches wide.All original including the mirror. There is a slight curve in the top and bottom crests. Superb craftsmanship.

Antique leather Elephant from India or Africa

Antique leather elephant,this "elephant" was made from wood with a leather cover. It was most probably made in the mid 19th century in India during the British rule,Anglo India period. It could also have been made in African. It is quite a wonderful sculpture with glass eyes and exacting detail. There is an old repair to its trunk. It was cracked and someone repaired it along time ago. This Elephant measures 19 inches high at the trunk and 13 and and one half inches to its back. The length is 19 inches.

Antique American Federal wall mirror,This period looking glass is from Salem or Boston Mass. We believe it was carved by Samuel Field McIntyre between the years of 1815 and 1818. The cornucopia design is beautifully carved and retains all its original gold leaf. This antique "Federal mirror" or "antique looking glass" measures 39 inches high by 19 inches wide by 2 and one half inches deep.
