Two Antique Silver plated Ivorine Fork and Knife sets Item # 4165 Two Antique Silver plated Ivorine Fork and Knife sets. This set of 24 pieces date from the mid to late 19th century. The handles on one set are mother of pearl and the other is ivorine. Original walnut case and excellent condition. The brass insert has never been monogrammed. The original box measures 14 and one half inches wide by 10 and three quarters inches deep and 2 and one half inches high. Vintage Mexican Mola Silk Applique Textile Item # 4171 Mola wall hanging.Vintage Mexican Silk Applique Textile. This "Mexican mola decorative textile" measures 51 inches tall and is 53 inches wide. Excellent original condition dating from the the 1920 to 1930 period. The exact textile is shown in a newspaper article that came with it written by Wm D. Allen for a Mexican Newspaper. Wheeler 1934 boat model Hemingway's Pilar Item # 4172 Handmade model 1934 Wheeler fishing boat exact copy of Pilar, Ernest Hemingway's fishing boat when he lived in Cuba. During WW II, Hemingway actually outfitted the Pilar with weapons and a crew in to patrol the Gulf Stream for German U-boats that were slipping into the Gulf of Mexico to torpedo American shipping vessels. He never found any. The model measures 39 inches long, 8 and one half inches wide, 27 inches tall. Finely detailed mahogany deck and cabin with full galley kitchen inside. There are compartments that hold fish and solid mahogany swiveling deck chairs along with a harpoon. A great piece of nostalgic maritime art.
