Woman would carry a silver box like this one the hold their coins for the bus in New York and other major cities. This silver coin holder measures 2 inches long by one half inch high by 1 inch wide and weighs 29 grams. Monogrammed with the name Hyde. Ernest Justin Ferranrd Statue Item # 4413 Ernest Justin Ferranrd Statue. The French sculptor, Ernest Justin Ferrand, was born in 1846 and died in 1932. He studied under Levasseur and Moreau, and became a member of Artistes Francais in 1891. Ferrand never altered his style; he sculpted in the same romantic Belle Epoque style of his student days throughout his life. This 18 and one half inch bronze figure titled Le Commerce (meaning trade) is one of several allegorical works he did that were inspired by the theme of modern progress. Sculptor Walter Lenck bronze sculpture Roman Soldier with two bulls Item # 4890 Bronze Sculpture by artist Walter Lenck, bronze, Roman soldier leading two chained bulls. This compelling bronze was sculpted by Walter Lenck circa 1890. The bronze retains its original green-brown patina. The richly-veined marble base was cut to shape with molded sides. Aesthetic Movement Portfolio Easel Ebonized Cherry c1880 Item # 4892 American Aesthetic Movement Portfolio Easel Ebonized Cherry c1880. This rare Aesthetic Movement Portfolio Easel was all hand carved and inlaid with box wood. The top carving depicts a heron standing in a marsh. This antique easel adjusts up and down to accommodate larger and small paintings. The bottom section drops down to hold works on paper or board. This easel measures 84 inches high by 40 inches at the base. The portfolio holder measures 28 inches outside and will hold works up to 26 inches inside. Mint original condition.
