Victorian Bronze and mahogany hanging tie towel rack c1875 Item # 5231 Victorian Bronze and mahogany hanging wall tie towel rack c1875. This is the most amazing tie and towel rack we have come by to date. The bronze sides are serpents that hold a bar that can turn to either hold ties or towels. If the bar is rotated it has four sections for ties each separated by solid bronze tabs. When rotated it leaves a round surface for towels. The back board is a solid piece of beautiful mahogany that has a hand carved decorative detail all along its edge. This decorative piece was reported to have been custom made for a Victorian Mansion in New York. Measures 13 inches across by 15 inches high and 1 inch thick.
