Antique silver plate Dog figural napkin ring Item # 1476 Antique figural nakin rings,Excellent silver plated dog figural napking ring. Very similar to the dog naking ring on page 22 of "Figural Napkin Rings" by Lillian Gottschalk & Sandra Whitson Collectors Books C1996 listing it as Wilcox Silver Plate Co. Very good original condition.Measures 2 7/8inches long 1 and one half inches wide and 2 1/8" high. We just found this in a Essex CT estate. Fine English Adams style gilt wood mirrors Item # 1482 "Antique Adams mirrors" Antique mirrors, Exuberant pair of Adams style gilt wood oval mirrors circa 1825 to 1835. This pair of mirrors retains their original beveled glass. Some restoration due to the fragility of the carving which is so characteristic of Adams design. Elements include swans, griffins, urns, foliage, bellflower swags, putti,dolphins, and flower baskets. Each mirror measures 20 inches by 40 inches. Stunning period 18th century English of the Chippendale period mirror carved in the rococo manner. Original Ginsberg and Levy (New York) label on the backboard. Original glass. Surface re gold leafed in 24 karat gold around 1970 by the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Measures 21 inches by 42 inches. Excellent condition.
