Antique needlepoint,Victorian needlepoint in original birdseye maple frame. This textile, needlepoint is probably English hand done around 1860. The hand work is just fantastic obviously done by some one that was highly skilled with the most beautiful execution of detail and design. The scene depicts two small children from the highlands in a landscape scene with blue sky, trees,and a feather in the little boys hand. The original birdseye maple frame measures 32 inches high by 26 inches wide. The needlepoint measures 21 and one half inches by 26 and three quarters inches. This is with out a doubt one of the best mid to late 19th century hand done needlepoints we have handled.

"Campaign advertising" This is a wonderful antique political advertisement from the 1932 presidential campaign. It lists three reasons why women should vote for Franklin D. Roosevelt. The piece, issued by the Democratic National Campaign Committee, has been custom framed and matted, ready to hang, as part of your collection of antique paper, antique documents, or political memorabilia. The condition is excellent. There are no folds, chips, tears, or marks. The matte is a blue gray that blends with any decor. It is 13 inches by 16 inches framed.One of a Kind has an extensive collection of antique documents from the seventeen, eighteen, and nineteen hundreds.

"New Deal" Here a rare piece of 1936 campaign literature from the New Deal era. It presents comparative tables of economic statistics from the Roosevelt and preceding Hoover administrations. (The average hourly wage for 1936 was 61 cents!) The piece of campaign literature has been custom framed and matted, ready to hang, as part of your collection of antique paper, antique documents, or political memorabilia. The condition is very good. There are no chips or marks, but there are a few small wrinkles. The matte is a blue gray that blends with any decor.
