Antique Roosevelt Election Flier from 1936 Item # 2339 This is an exceptional piece of "campaign literature" from the 1936 election. It contains statistics on bank failures between 1912 and 1936 emphasizing that during the New Deal Roosevelt administration bank failures had fallen dramatically. This is a rare piece of political memorabilia from a former age. The piece of political memorabilia has been custom framed and matted, ready to hang, as part of your collection of antique paper, antique documents, or political memorabilia. The condition is very good. There are no tears or chips, but the piece was once folded. There are slight discolorations on two of the folds. The matte is a blue gray that blends with any decor. Antique Document 1874 Receipt for sleigh Item # 2341 "Antique sleigh receipt"This antique document is dated Aug. 29, 1874, and is a receipt for wagon parts, including rims and spokes, totalling 16.50. That price included painting the wagon! It was issued by Alfred Cornwell, Mfgr. of Carriages, Sleighs, and Express Wagons. This wonderful piece of Americana is in very good condition with no chips or tears. There is a crease in the lower left corner, but there are no marks or smudges. Antique Document Surety Bond from 1820 Item # 2334 "Antique court documents" This is an agreement among several men in Middlesex County, Connecticut, to be responsible for a debt resulting from a court judgment. It is a beautiful example of an early nineteenth century antique legal document. The piece has been custom framed and matted, ready to hang, as part of your collection of antique paper, antique documents, or legal memorabilia. The condition is excellent. There are no chips, tears, or marks. The document has been folded as legal documents always are. The frame is gold and the matte is a gray green that blends with any decor. 1798 Antique Legal Writ of Attachment Item # 1575 "Middlesex County documents" "Antique court summons" A second legal writ attaching the property of Abraham Bailey of Chatham, Connecticut, over a delinquent loan from 1796. This antique document is dated 23rd October 1798. It is in very good condition with a small chip on the right edge (hardly noticeable) and the usual folds found on all legal documents. The frame is gold and the matte is a light burgundy that blends with any decor. It is 11x13 inches framed.
